Ant Nomenclature Cards are formatted in 3-part cards and include a blackline master. The 18 parts of an ant: ant, head, thorax, abdomen, antennae, compound eye, mandibles, clypeus, pronotum, mesonotum, propodeum, petiole, maxillary palps, forelegs, middle legs, and hind legs, gaster, and stinger. The individual parts are highlighted in red.

After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.
