Grammar Boxes

Grammar Box #2 - Articles

In Montessori, the function and position of words in sentences are studied and analyzed.

Grammar boxes isolate each grammatical part of speech that helps the child to easily comprehend the structure of language.

Box 2 is the study of the article and noun.

Included are the printable cards for Grammar Box 2, 4 Filling Boxes, and 1 Command Box. Also includes a template (mat) of the wooden box that you can use to place the cards on. It will help to keep the lesson organized if you do not have the wooden boxes.

In elementary, the symbols used are the same color as those used in primary, but the color of the cards change. The thought is that Maria Montessori wanted the child to truly analyze the parts of speech and not simply match the colors. * The symbols are not included.
