Plants We Eat Sorting - Cut & Paste

In a Montessori setting, learning about food helps children understand the world, develop practical life skills, and build healthy eating habits.

This is a cut-and-paste activity. Cut out the food items. Identify and classify the different parts of plants we eat. Use the control chart to verify the classifications. Then, glue the food onto the blank chart.

This set includes:

  • 30 pictures of plants
  • 1 control chart
  • 1 blank chart

The cut-out pictures come in two versions: one set is organized in a classified order, while the other is in random order for a greater challenge. Additionally, there are two variants: one set is labeled, and the other is not.

The control chart is approx. 7½" x 9½".
