Three-Dimensional Shapes (Cut-and-Fold Nets)

These three-dimensional shapes (cut-and-fold nets) help children develop spatial awareness, understand 3D shapes, and practice fine motor skills by visually representing and manipulating 2D representations of 3D objects. This is an excellent extension lesson for children who are familiar with geometric shapes and solids.

This set includes the following 12 cut-and-fold nets: cube, cone, cylinder, triangular prism, tetrahedron, pyramid, pentagonal pyramid, hexagonal pyramid, hexagonal prism, rhombic prism, octahedron, and dodecahedron.

Each cut-and-fold net prints on a letter-size paper (8½" x 11") and includes a small picture of the folded solid.
